The Freedom Tour
We call it our "Freedom Tour" which gives a full access to a selected set of destinations and activities that will please both those in wheelchairs and their companions who are not. This tour features a full tour but also adds the option of low-cost assistants as pushers so family members can get the same relaxed experience as much out of their tour as the members of any of our other tours.
Access continues to improve in St Petersburg but using the options are not always easy to figure out unless one speaks and reads Russian. We are experts in making the best use of lifts, locations of ramps, special entrances and applying for access in museums, cathedrals and public transportation. Even such difficult to climb destinations such as the Colonnade of St Isaac Cathedral and its 220 steps of a narrow circular staircase can now be bypassed with a new elevator which is hard to arrange for by visitors, becomes an exciting, safe and easy opportunity to see the best vantage point views of the historic city center.
